Bharti Airtel has introduced a new prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 169 with a validity of 28 days. The plan has been launched just after Vodafone launched the Rs 169 prepaid plan last week in India.
Under Rs 169 prepaid pack, the customers will get unlimited national voice calls and 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data per day. Additionally, the users will also get 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days. The prepaid pack is live on the Airtel App and the website as well.
This plan takes on Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 plan and Vodafone’s Rs 169 plan, both for prepaid customers. The Vodafone Rs 169 plan offers its customers 1GB 3G / 4G data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day with the same validity of 28 days.
However, Vodafone’s unlimited calling is capped at 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. After which Vodafone will charge 1.2 paise per second or Re 1 per minute when calling, depending on the user’s base plan.
The Reliance Jio plan, on the other hand, offers its users unlimited calling without any FUP, 1.5GB daily 4G data, 100 SMSes per day, and complimentary subscription to Jio apps. So Jio plan is offering 42GB data as compared to 28GB data offered by Airtel and Vodafone.
