Xiaomi has today debuted in the TV category with the launch of its new TV in India – the Mi LED Smart TV 4 for Rs 39,999 that includes installation, cable, and a three-month subscription to Sony Liv. The TV comes in 55 inches LED display with minimal bezels and will be available for sale on exclusively on Flipkart, company’s official store and Mi Home retail stores starting February 22.

The Mi Mi LED Smart TV 4 has a 4.9mm ultra-thin frameless metal body and a sound system that supports DolbyAudio plus DTS-HD to deliver a stunning viewing experience at home. With 4.9mm thickness, the TV is said to be World’s thinnest LED TV. Xiaomi Mi TV 4 has a Ultra display with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and 178-degree viewing angle.

The TV is powered by Quad-core 64-bit TV with Mali-T830 GPU. The Dolby Atmos utilises the down-firing speakers for the sound output. The new Mi TV 4 comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage and for connectivity, it supports High-speed ethernet, WiFi( 802.11ac), 4.0, 3 x HDMI and 2 x ports. The TV comes wit Mi Remote control with a unique 11 button design. It also has Bluetooth so you don’t have to point at the TV to control it.

Besides, the Mi TV 4 features Xiaomi’s “Patch Wall” software, which is an system that can predict content based on what you’ve watched already has been blended fantastically. Also, a provision has been made to sync in content from the set-top box so that one can use the TV’s remote control to manage it. As per Xiaomi, PatchWall is India’s first TV OS that brings all the content from your Set Top Box & seamlessly integrates right on your homepage. The TV will support all the major set-top boxes out of the box. That’s over 35K+ DTH/Cable operators across 48 different brands. The Patch Wall comes with language support for 15 Indian languages, 500,000 hours of special content in collaboration with streaming content providers in India.
