Sony announced the Xperia Sola smartphone with a 3.7-inch Reality Display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and 2.3 Gingerbread with an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich promised for the summer months. What sets the the Xperia sola apart is that it features “floating touch” navigation, which enables “magic” web browsing without physically touching the screen. It also means that you can use the handset with your gloves on. Its too bad this feature wasnt released at the beginning of the winter not the beginning of spring.
