Huawei just announced the Ascend D2 and our own Taylor got some hands-on time with it at CES in Las Vegas. The Ascend D2 is the smaller brother of the gigantic, 6.1-inch Ascend Mate. It has a 5-inch 1080p display at 443 pixels per inch, a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset, 2GB RAM, a 3,000mAh battery, 32GB storage and a 13-megapixel camera. Its more along the lines of the HTC DROID DNA, rather than being a full-fledged phablet like the Galaxy Note II.
