The said model of Apple iPad Mini comes with 16 GB of Internal Memory and WiFi connectivity and has no cellular connectivity or expandable storage slot. Besides, it has a 7.9 inch LCD IPS display with Oleophobic coating and 1024×768 pixels resolution. It is run by a dual core Processor and iOS 6 operating system (Apple has also recently announced iOS 7 for the tablet).
This model of iPad Mini also comes with 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. The 7.2 mm thick iPad Mini also have Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5 mm jack.
If you want the tablet with cellular connectivity, then you have to spend about Rs 6,000 more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 (Rs 24,000)
We had reviewed it once and were stunned by its performance so there was no second thought before opting for it over others. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 comes with a nice 8 inch display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It has huge 16 GB internal storage and 64 GB of expandable storage slot.
Moreover, the Tab 3 T311 has Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, and a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. As I said in the review itself, the tablet gives a flawless performance thanks to its 1.5 GB RAM.
It has also a huge 4450 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides good battery talktime ( 24 hours on 3G network). Besides it WiFi and Bluetooth, the Tab 3 is also armed with a single SIM slot that allows it to make calls as well as access 3G.

Nexus 7 2013 (LTE, about Rs 27,500)
Though a WiFi model of the Nexus 7 2013 is available for around Rs 20,000, we opted for this as it is 4G compatible. The said model comes with a 7 inch touchscreen with full HD resolution. It is armed with 2 GB RAM, 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor and Android KitKat operating system (recently received).
It too has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. It has a Li-Po battery that claims to provide 10 hours of browsing and 9 hours of video playback. This 8.65 mm thick tablet weighs 299 grams and has Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm jack, GPS, WiFi, and 4G (LTE) support.

This tablet was recently launched in India. It has every feature that makes it a member of this list including its 3G connectivity, and an octa core processor. Incidentally, it is the first octa core tablet to be launched in the Indian market.
The new iBerry Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet features hot-swappable 3G SIM module support. That means, user can insert or pull out a 3G SIM module any time from the tablet. The Auxus CoreX8 3G features 7.85-inch touchscreen display that supports 720p HD resolution and 10-point multitouch. This tablet is powered by the 28nm Octa-core 1.8 GHz Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 mobile Chipset with 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The PowerVR SGX544MP3 GPU powers the graphics and is capable of supporting high fidelity 3D games.
The Auxus CoreX8 3G has a penta-band HSPA+ network support and offer WiFi for faster web browsing. By default, it offers 16 GB on-board storage support and Memory card slot to hold up to 64 GB micro SD card. At the rear, it sports 5 megapixel camera with flash and in the front lies a 2 megapixel camera. Measuring 9.2 mm thick, the Auxus CoreX8 3G tablet weighs 388 grams including the 4800 mAh battery that promises up to 12 hours of working time. The tablet comes loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and iBerry promised to push future version updates via Over-The-Air method to the tablet owners.
The new Auxus CoreX8 3G and Auxus Xenea X1 will go on 10-day pre-booking from 10 January 2014. The CoreX8 3G will be offered at a special pre-booking price of Rs 20,990.

This tablet comes with a 10.1 inch IPS touchscreen with 1280×600 pixels resolution. It is armed with Android 4.2 operating system, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, and 1 GB RAM.
