Micromax surprised everyone by roping Hugh Jackman, famous for his role as Wolverine, as the brand ambassador and launched the new Canvas Turbo A250 smartphone. Micromax has powered it with a quad-core 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6589T mobile Processor and 2 GB RAM.
The handset has a 13 megapixel rear camera which is assisted by an LED flash at the back. The Canvas Turbo has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with full 1080p HD native resolution. This smartphone packs 16 GB on-board storage and also has a 5 megapixel camera in the front for video calls. The Canvas Turbo runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean update and can run most apps smoothly. There is a Stereo FM radio for music enthusiasts and the other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with APS support, Accelerometer, Compass, and a non-removable 2000 mAh battery. HTC continues to expand its Desire series for India with the new Desire 500 introduced a couple of months ago. Desire 500 carries typical Desire series styling and features a 4.3 inch LCD display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The Desire 500 is powered by a quad core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile chip with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB on board storage. HTC has loaded Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update with HTC Sense UI on top. At the rear is an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and Autofocus for imaging as well as for recording 720p HD video.
HTC has packed WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. Beats Audio enhancement comes integrated for louder audio output. Though this device has a couple of flag worthy shortcomings over other devices, build quality is an important factor that tries to make up for those points. HTC has packed an 1800 mAh battery inside the phone.
Sony Xperia C flaunts a 5-inch display with 960×540 pixel resolution. Though it is not HD quality, this dual SIM smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589 mobile Chipset with 1 GB RAM to run the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comfortably. The smartphone offers only 4 GB on-board storage which might be bit cumbersome but there is memory card slot to expand the storage. At the rear is an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash and autofocus as well as HDR. This camera can record full HD video and there is a VGA front facing camera.

In the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera with BSI sensor and Wide-Angle for video calling/chats. Measuring 8.9 mm thick, the Q3000 supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) configuration. Xolo has packed 4000 mAh battery to run for long time.
