Check out five of the best dual-SIM Google Android based smartphones one can buy with a limited budget of Rs 20,000.

Dual-SIM handsets reduce the stress to carry and manage two separate handsets. However, selecting a good dual-SIM handset under Rs 20,000 is a tough task with so many handset models available in the market.

This week, we have listed out five best dual-SIM handsets which have been launched recently and promise decent ‘bang for the buck’ experience. Do note that most of the run 4.4 KitKat update and we hope that the respective companies will release the next Android 5.0 LMP update in near future.

Motorola Moto G (2nd Generation)

Motorola recently introduced the refreshed version of its best-selling Moto G as the second generation Moto G with improved specifications. The second generation Moto G flaunts a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. This display has been constructed using 3 technology. Motorola has armed it with the quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile which remains the same as the predecessor model. This mobile chipset is clubbed with 1GB RAM.

The new Motorola Moto G offers dual-SIM configurations of which one supports network enabled SIM card. The second generation Moto G comes in 8 GB and 16 GB on-board storage and both the versions have a memory card slot to add more storage. Asus Zenfone 6

Asus unveiled the new Zenfone series with the large screen Zenfone 6. It has a 6-inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and offers great viewing angles. However, Zenfone 6 offers of 245 pixels per inch which is not acceptable for such a large display. The Zenfone 6 is powered by the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor which comes with hyper threading feature. Asus has packed 2 GB RAM and offers 16 GB built-in storage along with a memory slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 64 GB.

Zenfone 6 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and Asus as promised to release the Android 4.4 KitKat version. At the back, Zenfone 6 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash for great imaging experience and record videos. In the front, it has a 2 megapixel camera for video calls and clicking selfies. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, port, and GPS with GLONASS support. Measuring 9.9 mm thick, the smartphone weighs 196 grams including the 3300 mAh battery. Asus claims that the battery offers 33 hours of 3G talktime. The Zenfone 6 can accommodate one 3G network enabled micro-SIM module has in one of the two slots.

Micromax Canvas Nitro A310

Micromax introduced its selfie-centric powerful smartphone – Canvas Nitro A310, earlier this week. This dual-SIM handset can support one 3G network enabled SIM card in one of the dual-SIM slots. The new Canvas Nitro features 5-inch IPS LCD display supporting 1280×720 pixel resolution natively.

Micromax has placed 5 megapixel front facing camera built with OmniVision OV5648 imaging sensor along with Fixed Focus in the Nitro. There is no LED flash in the front to support during low luminance environments. At the rear, this smartphone has a 13 megapixel Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor based camera along with an LED Flash and auto-focus. The rear camera can shoot high quality images and record full 1080p HD videos.

Micromax has powered Canvas Nitro with the octa-core 1.7 Ghz MediaTek MT6595 System-on-Chip and Mali-450 for graphics. This mobile chipset is paired with 2 GB RAM to run the system and the graphics heavy games as well as applications smoothly. The Canvas Nitro A310 offers 8 GB on-board storage and memory slot to add up to 32 GB card. Micromax has loaded the Android 4.4.2 KitKat to run smoothly on this smartphone. The Canvas Nitro is powered with a 2500 mAh battery that promises 10 hours of talk time.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 flaunts a 5.25-inch TFT touchscreen display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and thereby offering pixel density of 280 pixel per inch. It has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core mobile processor and 1.5 GB RAM. The Grand 2 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system but it has the TouchWiz user interface. The phone also comes with Samsung Store and other exclusive apps.
