Motorola recently launched the Moto G8 Plus smartphone for a price of Rs 13,999 in India. The device comes in Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink colours and will be available on Flipkart from the end of October.

The Moto G8 Plus features a 6.3-inch Full Max Vision display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot. There’s a triple-camera setup comprising of 48MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor and a 16MP wide-angle lens with 117-degree field of view. For the front, there is a 25-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The Moto G8 Plus runs on 9.0 Pie and it is backed by a 4000mAh battery.

For optics, the Note 8 Pro comprises of a 64MP primary camera with 1/1.72 inch Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture; an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12-micron pixel size; a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera with 1.75-micron pixel. There’s a 20MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. The device runs on Android 9 based on MIUI 10 and is fuelled by 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M30s smartphone last month for Rs 13,999 on Amazon. The phone features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with 91 percent screen-to-body ratio and 420 nits brightness. It’s powered by an Exynos 9611 processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with ARM Mali G72 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

The Galaxy M30s features a triple-camera setup with a combination of 48MP primary lens with f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with 123-degree FOV and a 5MP depth sensor. For the front, it is equipped with a 16MP selfie shooter. The phone runs on Android Pie, which is based on OneUI and is fuelled by a 6,000mAh battery with a 15W fast charger.

Back in August, Realme 5 Pro was announced for Rs 13,999 for the 4GB+64GB model on Flipkart. The phone equips a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with 90.8 per cent screen ratio and 3+ protection. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor with Adreno 616 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.

For optics, the Realme 5 Pro utilises a 48MP primary Sony IMX 586 lens with f/1.8 aperture; a 119-degree 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture; a 2MP with f/2.4 aperture; and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There’s a 16MP Sony IMX471 front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device is backed by a 4035mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 and ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.

Motorola’s own One Action smartphone competes with the Moto G8 Plus and the phone sells for the same price tag of Rs 13,999 on Flipkart. The Motorola One Action features a 6.3-inch (1080×2520 pixels) Full HD+ with 21:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 84 percent. The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 9609 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Motorola One Action is equipped with a triple-camera setup, which comprises of a 12MP rear camera with flash, f/1.8 aperture,1.25micron pixel size, PDAF, 16MP 117-degree Ultra-wide Action camera with 2.0 micron Quad Pixel technology, f/2.2 and a 5MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
