Oppo A9 comes with 6.5-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display along with 90.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and waterdrop-style notch design. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and comes equipped with 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek P70 processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone comes 4GB RAM, 128GB of storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card and sports a fingerprint sensor at the back panel.

Further, it comes equipped with dual rear camera setup with a combination of 16MP AI primary sensor and 2MP depth sensor with Dual-tone LED flash. On the front, it has another 16MP AI sensor for selfies. The device runs on Android Pie with Color OS 6 on top of it and gets its juices from a 4020mAh non-removable battery.
