Xiaomi Redmi Note has been announced in two versions – the 3G version will be available via Flipkart from December 2 while the 4G version of the phone will be launched after December 15 and can be purchased from both Flipkart and Airtel’s stores.

3G version is priced at Rs 8,999 while 4G can be bought for Rs 9,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Note has octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 mobile chipset.

Redmi Note has a 3100 mAh battery.

It has 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Note has 5.5-inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution.

It has 2 GB RAM, 8 GB on-board storage and 32 GB micro SD card slot.

Redmi Note has Gyroscope, Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor and E-Compass.

It has Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, USB On-the-Go and WiFi support.

Xiaomi Redmi Note runs on Adroid 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. It has a different user interface known as MIUI.

All the apps from Google Play Store can be used in this.
