Xiaomi Redmi 1s in Pictures

The Redmi 1S is 9.9 mm thick, 69 mm wide and 137 mm tall. It comes in black, white, and red colours.

Mi’s Redmi 1S has a 4.7-inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. The display has Dragontrail scratch-resistant glass covering as well.

This smartphone houses a quad-core 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile Chipset and 1 GB RAM.

The Redmi 1s has a customised user interface, called MIUI which is based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version.

The Redmi 1s offers 8 GB built-in storage and comes with Memory card slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 64 GB.

At the rear, Redmi 1s packs an 8 Megapixel camera with f/2.2 Aperture and 28 mm wide angle lens. There is an LED flash in the rear too. The camera offers burst mode, auto-focus, zero shutter lag, HDR and real-time filters.

In the front, it has a 1.6 megapixel camera which, as per the company, allows video calling in high definition.

It has two SIM slots – one for 3G network and the other for 2G. Besides, it has Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, WiFi, and a Micro USB port with OTG functionality.

The Redmi 1S has GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support for navigation.

MI has added a 2000 mAh battery in the Redmi 1S which should offer decent talktime.

The handset has dual microphone for noise cancellation, and has Gyroscope, light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and electronic compass.
