The Xiaomi Mi 4 has been launched in India with Android 4.4.3 KitKat version and like all Xiaomi phones, it too has the MiUi interface. There are also reports of Android 5.0 heading for this handset.

The Mi 4 is fitted with a Snapdragon 801 Chipset which comprises of a 2.5 GHz quad core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and 3 GB RAM.

Xiaomi has launched the 16 GB version of Mi 4 in India for Rs 19,999. It though has a micro SD card slot and USB OTG functionality too. Besides, the Mi 4 comes in 64 GB version as well which though will be launched later in India.

The Mi 4, which was released in China last August, has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with 1/3 inch sensor and an 8 megapixel front camera.

This 149 grams weighing smartphone has a 3080 mAh battery that claims to offer up to 280 hours of 3G stand by.

9Price and Availability
Like all Xiaomi devices, the Mi 4 will be sold via Flipkart through flash sales. Flipkart will start the registration process for Xiaomi Mi 4 from 6 PM today and the device will be on sale from February 10 (next month). It is priced at Rs 19,999.
10Competitors
At Rs 19,999, the Xiaomi Mi 4 has too many good competitors like Sony Xperia Z Ultra, OnePlus One, Gionee Elife S5.5, HTC Desire 600, Samsung Galaxy E5, and Lenovo Vibe X2 4G.
