Vivo Z1 Pro Camera test: The good and bad!

The shot was taken of a building and the image came out to be crisp in nature and the colour of the building as quite close to the source. The phone does a good job here.

The phone artificially enhanced the yellowish colours in the sky. That said, the colour of the building was close to the source and the image looks sharp and crisp.

The photo was taken using the Wide-Angle mode of the Vivo Z1 Pro. As you can see it captures a wide field of view, though one can see a slight barrel distortion along the edges.

The photo was taken using a wide-angle lens and in this photo, the image of the building is still close to the source. In terms of detailing, the photo came out to be good and the detailing was decent as well.

In this photo, the colour of the sky is quite close to the source, but the same cannot be said for the building. The purple colour is actually a variant of blue in real. The phone was oversaturating the blue colour in this image.

The phone does a pretty good job in capturing the macro of this food item. One can clearly see the subject and details are impressive.

Vivo Z1 Pro captured another good job here. The phone was able to capture the different tones of the sky due to the sunset scenario. The metro was moving at that time, but it still manages to do a good job here.

The phone once again does an impressive job in capturing macro subjects. The colours were right to the point and one can clearly see the peanuts with right detailing.

We used the Portrait mode in this image and the results were good as well. However, we felt that the background blur could have been slightly better. Plus point here is that you can choose what to highlight in post-processing.

When it comes to low light, the phone tends to struggle a bit. You need to keep it still for a while or else it will shoot blurred images. The image shot here gave decent results, though detailing was not that great.

We captured this image in low light condition and the results were disappointing. The picture came out to be full noises and the detailing went for a toss.

The phone was able to capture the complex lights with ease. One can clearly see the leaves of the tree and the colour of the sky is quite close to the source.

In this photo, we used the Night Mode. Although it brightened the image, the detailing was still missing. We also noticed that the picture came out to be softly-focused.

We used Portrait mode in low light condition. Although the phone was able to distinguish between the background and subject, we faced the same soft focus issue, which is quite prominent in other low light shots as well.

Vivo Z1 Pro capture yet another impressive image in the macro mode. The photo delivered some good dynamic range and it came out to crisp and well-detailed. The colour reproduction was decent as well.

The phone captured a good shot and the detailing was to the point. However, we noticed that the colour of the subject in the photo was not close to the source.

Vivo Z1 Pro does a decent job in the low light condition, however, you can still notice some grains and slight noises in this photo.

In this photo, the device was able to capture the colours quite accurately and one can see the leaves of the tree and lights quite easily.

The AI Beauty mode is quite aggressive nature and one can clearly see that it is aggressively smoothing the skin and adding unnecessary lip colour to the subject.
