At Rs 49,900, this is the costliest handset to be announced this month and has already been pitted as the biggest rival of Samsung Galaxy S5. The HTC One M8 comes with a 5 inch display with full resolution. It is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 2 GB RAM, and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The most notable factor of this handset is its dual rear cameras of 4 resolution each. There is a 5 megapixel camera in its front panel as well.

Samsung silently launched this handset in India without much fanfare. Available for about Rs 18,000, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Z offers 5 inch display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8 GB internal storage, 64 GB micro SD card slot, and 1 GB RAM. This 9.6 mm thick smartphone offers an 8 megapixel rear camera which is capable of recording full HD videos. There is an LED flash in the back panel as well while a 2 megapixel camera is in its front. The 161 gram heavy Samsung Galaxy Grand Z has a 2100 mAh battery that promises 10 hours of talktime and 440 hours of standby over networks. Besides, this dual SIM phone has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2.0.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo comes with a 4.8 inch Super with high definition resolution. It has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor which runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and 1.5 GB RAM. The S3 Neo has a 64 GB micro SD card slot but there is no information as of now about its internal storage. After Xolo launched its Q1010i with Exmor R camera sensor, Lava too had announced a handset called Iris 504Q+ with a 10 megapixel camera unit with the same camera sensor. It has a 5 inch IPS display with high definition resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, Mali 400 GPU, and 1 GB RAM. It has got decent 8 GB internal storage of which 5.33 GB is available for users. There is a slot in the Iris 504Q+ which can accommodate up to a 32 GB micro SD card. The Lava Iris 504Q+ has a 2000 mAh Li-Po battery which said to provide 200 hours of standby with single SIM. The phone is quite slim in itself with a thickness of 7.9 mm but it is a bit heavier (149 grams).

The Q1010i is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK6582 mobile processor and Mali-400MP graphics processing unit. This hardware is backed with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on-board storage with a memory card slot. Besides, the Q1010i has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, standard audio port and micro USB 2.0 port. Xolo Q1010i runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat update. Xolo has packed a fairly big 2250 mAh battery in the phone.
