Micromax Canvas A1 Android One Smartphone in Pics

Micromax Canvas A1 bears a 4.5-inch touchscreen display with 480×854 pixel resolution.

This Android One smartphone is 9.3 mm thick, 68 mm wide and 134 mm tall. It weighs 140 grams which is a bit on the higher side for a 4.5 inch smartphone.

The Canvas A1 comes with Android KitKat operating system and offers pure Android experience without any customisations. Google has also promised future OS updates for the phone.

The phone has a quad core Processor and Mali 400 MP2 GPU which should offer decent performance.

The Canvas A1 packs 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.

The handset has a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The Canvas A1 comes in dual SIM version and has WiFi too. Of the two SIM slots, one offers 3G network support.

The Micromax Canvas A1 has a 1700 mAh battery which claims to offer 8.9 hours of talktime and 193.6 hours of standby.

The Micromax Canvas A1 is priced at Rs 6,399 and will be available from Amazon. It will hit retail stores by this Diwali.

Micromax Canvas A1 is the third smartphone to be launched in the Android One program after Spice Dreams Uno and Karbonn Sparkle V. All the three smartphones have similar features but has slight difference in terms of looks.

Apart from the handset itself, the device comes with a Headphone and a charger with a USB cable.
