Zync today announced the launch of India’s first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich based tablet, named as Zync Z-990. The tablet is priced at Rs 8,990 and comes with a 7 inch capacitive screen that can respond to upto five point touches, so you can use your all five fingers at a time.
It is powered by a 1.2 Ghz processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM that would surely give a smoother performance. Zync Z-990 has 4 GB of in-built memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB.
Zync is a part of Noida based Apple Group companies which has been into mining business in Hong Kong.
The 380 gram weighing tablet has WiFi, 0.3 megapixel front camera, full sized USB port that supports pen drives, external keyboards, and 3G USB dongles, HDMI port, and a Micro USB port.
Asish Garg, chairman, Apple Group companies (parent company of Zync), said, “The Zync Z-990 is India’s first Android 4.0 tablet with features such as control over data usage, new gallery app with photo editor, new lock action, new user interface, new camera capabilities and five point touch.”
“We have also designed a keyboard especially for this tablet and priced it just as nominally,” he further added.
The Zync Z-990 is available from various e-commerce websites like Yebhi.com, Letsbuy.com and HomeShop18.com. An attached keyboard especially designed for this tablet is also being offered by the company along with this tablet for a discounted price. It comes with a one year warranty as well.
