Tablet manufacturer, Zync has announced the launch of a yet another low cost tablet for the Indian market. Known as the Zync Z909, it is the first ever sub Rs 4,000 tablet coming from the brand. Priced at Rs 3,699, it competes against other low cost tablet options in the Indian market like the BSNL Pena tab and the Datawind Aakash tablet. The tablet is available form today from retail as well as online stores that includes popular websites such as Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, Futurebazaar.com, Naaptol.com.
The Zync Z909 tablet comes with a 7-inch display featuring a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and a resistive touch input system. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and features 256 MB of RAM for smoother operations. The Zync Z909 has data connectivity through both WiFi network as well as through the use of dongles. The tablet also comes with a front 0.3 megapixel camera to support video calling.
The Zync Z909 runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and has 4 GB in-built memory for storage that can be expanded to 16 GB. Along with all this the tablet comes with a micro and a full sized USB port for supporting external USB dongles, Devices and keyboards.
The tablet comes with free accessories including a screen guard and Lycra based pouch. The Z-909 also has the BigFlix application embedded into the tablet which gives a seamless movie experience to movie buffs. And on top of that, the company is giving a free 1 month subscription of the service to the customers as well.
