ZTE has announced a new phone for the US market. The handset, ZTE ZMax 2, is the successor of ZTE ZMax smartphone and will be available from AT&T, online and in select stores, starting September 25 at $149.99 approximately Rs 9,906.
ZTE ZMax 2 features a 5.5 inch HD (720p) display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
ZTE ZMax 2 comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to upto 32GB through a micro SD card. It packs a 3,000 mAh removable battery. The phone measures 154 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weighs 170 grams.
On the connectivity front, the ZTE ZMax 2 comes with 4G connectivity with WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), A-GPS, Micro USB port, and Bluetooth.
However, at present there is no information about its availability in the Indian market.
