ZTE Z839 receives FCC certification

ZTE Z839 is said to come with Android Nougat operating system.

Seems like ZTE is getting ready for the launch of its ZTE Z839 smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.

The FCC document, however, does not reveal anything but it shows that ZTE Z839 will feature a removable battery. The FCC listing gives us a hint that the battery is removable since the product label is placed inside the battery compartment. It further shows that ZTE Z839 will sport rounded corners and a camera located in the centre.

Last month, ZTE Z839 also received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). As per the Wi-Fi certification, the ZTE Z839 will support single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity features. Sadly, the listing does not show any specifications except that the device will be powered by 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

Sadly, no more details about the smartphone are known at the moment but since the device has started taking the rounds online we expect more leaks to come up in the coming days. We will keep you posted once we get more updates on this.
