Along with the Blade V8 Pro ZTE also unveiled another smartphone named, Hawkeye, at the CES event in Las Vegas held earlier this month. While the company didn’t reveal the specifications then, the smartphone is now up for pre-order through KickStarter for $199 (approx. Rs 13,530) with full list of specs now out. The ZTE Hawkeye is a crowdsourced smartphone on Kickstarter, which features eye-tracking and self-adhesive properties.
The eye-tracking technology in ZTE Hawkeye would allow the phone to recognize eye movement to automatically scroll up and down or left and right on pages. Not only this, one can also navigate between pages through voice commands. Another interesting feature is the phone’s ability to stick to walls and surfaces using the self-adhesive case allowing the device to stick on a vertical surface and use it hands-free.
Coming to the specifications, the ZTE Hawkeye features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 Processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
This Dual SIM smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB by a micro SD card. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors with Optical Zoom and OIS and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The device also features a circular shaped fingerprint sensor embedded on the back of the device. Connectivity options of the device include 4G LTE, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Hi-Fi audio, USB 2.0 Type-C port and NFC.
