The ZTE Axon 8, which was spotted on TENNA certification website last month, has now been found listed on GFXBench Benchmarking website with the model number ZTE A2018. ZTE Axon 8 will be the successor of ZTE Axon 7 which was launched last year in China.
As per the listing on GFXBench, ZTE Axon 8 has a 5.5-inch QHD display that has 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.1 GHz quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage out of which 107GB will be reserved for the users, Adreno 530 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The listing, however, does not mention anything about the battery.
As per the benchmark listing, the ZTE Axon 8 has a 12-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while there is a 7-megapixel camera on the front. The GFX listing also reveals that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, compass, light, proximity and gyroscope Sensors as well.
As per the earlier TENAA listing, ZTE Axon 8 features a 5.5-inch display that has OLED WQHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 or 821 Processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage, expandable storage via a micro SD card, dual camera setup of a 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is fueled by 3320mAh battery. Connectivity options of the smartphone are likely to be 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a Micro USB port. The dimensions of the phone are 151.7 x 75 x 7.7 mm and it weighs 170 grams.
To recollect, the ZTE Axon 7 features 5.5-inch AMOLED (2560 x 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is fitted with a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor, which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of internal storage, and an expandable storage slot for up to 128GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MiFavor UI 4.0 on top of it and is backed up by 3250mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The Axon 7 has a 20-megapixel shooter with Dual LED flash, Samsung Isocell sensor, sapphire lens, PDAF, OIS, af/1.8 Aperture on the back panel, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), NFC, Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. The handset measures 151.7 x 75 x 7.9mm and weighs 185 grams.
