As we hoped, ZTE has announced the Axon 7 Mini at the IFA 2016. The device, which is a toned-down variant of ZTE Axon 7 smartphone, is priced at €299 (approximately Rs 9,484) and will be available in Germany, Spain, Poland and Russia, USA, India, Japan, Australia and Saudi Arabia. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini comes in two color options – Ion Gold and Platinum Grey.ÂÂ
The Axon 7 Mini comes with a 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080p) AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display and an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via micro SD card. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor which is located on its back panel. The Axon 7 Mini features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound technology and boasts a dedicated audio chip.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with ZTE’s customised skin on top while a 2705 mAh battery powers this phone. The handset has Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology for faster charging. On the camera front, the Axon 7 Mini has a 16-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with a LED flashlight and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone offers hybrid Dual SIM, 4G/LTE, WiFi, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 4.1. The handset measures 147.5 x 71 x 7.8 mm and it weighs 153 grams.
