After launching the Blade A7 with Helio P60 yesterday, ZTE has announced the ZTE Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G smartphones in China. The standard Axon 10 Pro will come with the latest Snapdragon 855 Processor with triple cameras at the back and will start for 3,199 yuan which translates to Rs 32,750.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G both feature a 6.47-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It’s worth noting that the phone will be using an F2FS file system, in contrast to the EXT4 format which is widely used.
The 5G-based model will use the Snapdragon X50 Modem with a Smart SAR solution. Besides offering 5G and non-5G models, there is not a single difference between the two phones. Both phones come with liquid-cooling technology and composite phase-change thermal materials for throttling at high temperatures.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back which includes a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 125-degree field of view and an 8MP telephoto camera. There’s a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
The Axon 10 Pro additionally comes with NFC and can be connected to or charged via a USB Type-C port. Other connectivity options include WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The phone wins on Android Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s MiFavor 9.1 interface on top and is fuelled by a 4,000mAh with up to 18w Fast charging and wireless charging.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro weighs in at 175 grams and measures at 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm.
ZTE’s Axon 10 Pro will be available in 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations at 3,199 yuan (approx. Rs 32,750), 3,699 yuan (approx. Rs 37,900) and 4,199 yuan (approx. Rs 43,000). There’s no news on the pricing and availability of the 5G version.
