As reported earlier, Zopo has unveiled its most awaited smartphone, the Zopo Speed 8, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona. It is one of the first smartphones to use the Helio X20 deca-core processor of Mediatek. The smartphone will succeed Zopo Speed 7 which was launched in India last year at Rs 12,999.
The Zopo Speed 8 is priced at $299.99 (approximately Rs 20,537) and will be available for purchase from April 12 onwards. The smartphone comes in Black and Silver colours.
The Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered with latest MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor, which is clubbed with impressive 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The smartphone runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3600 mAh battery with Fast charging support.
The Speed 8 flaunts a 21-megapixel shooter on its back panel with dual LED Flash light, PDAF, and Sony IMX230 sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera. The front shooter also comes with an LED flash. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and notably a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The handset measures 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm and weighs 136 grams.
