Zopo is rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for three of its Speed series smartphones, the Zopo Speed 7, Speed 7 Plus and Speed 7 GP. Zopo announced the roll out of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update through a press note, which was published on company’s website, and also through its official Twitter handle.
Moreover, some of the Color series of smartphones and Speed 7C will also receive the Android Marshmallow update in coming days, the company has announced.
According to the press note “The update needs to be done manually, and is not available as an OTA update. That means, flashing the device is required. You can check Zopo’s guide on how to flash your smartphone and download the Android 6.0 Marshmallow right now”.
Zopo had launched only Zopo Speed 7, Speed 7 Plus smartphone in India.
The Zopo Speed 7 was launched in India last year for Zopo Speed 7 for Rs 12,999. It has the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system that runs on a powerful 64 bit Mediatek 6753 octa core processor. It has a 5 inch IPS display with full HD resolution, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 13.2 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
This dual SIM smartphone has a 64 GB micro SD card slot as well. The Zopo Speed 7 has 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, 2500 mAh battery, GPS with A-GPS, and WiFi (a/b/g/n). It claims to offer up to 10 hours of talktime and up to 120 hours of standby. The Zopo Speed 7 measures 71mm*146mm*8.5mm and weighs 150 grams.
Other hand, Zopo Speed 7 Plus was launched in India last last year at Rs 14,999. It comes with a 5.5 inch IPS screen with full high definition resolution, MTK MT6753 octa-core 64bit processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
The Zopo Speed 7 Plus comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, dual SIM, 64 GB micro SD card slot, Micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth, WiFi (a/b/g/n) and a 3000 mAh battery that promises 120 hours of standby. The handset measures 76.5mm*153.6mm*8.5mm and weighs 150 grams.
