Asus has announced the launch of ZenBook Flip UX360CA in India. It will be available across leading retailers and Asus Exclusive Stores at a starting price of Rs 46,990.
The ZenBook Flip UX360CA is the first ZenBook model to feature a 360° hinge with a flippable display in India. The UX360CA has a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200×1800) IPS touchscreen that promises 178° viewing angles and better off-center color reproduction and contrast than other panel technologies. The screen is said to have high brightness level of 350cd/m2.
“A wide color gamut of 72% NTSC and exclusive Asus Splendid technology ensure outstanding color reproduction, a boon for applications like movie viewing and color-critical graphics work. Video performance is also enhanced with exclusive Asus Tru2Life technology that automatically optimizes the sharpness and contrast of every Pixel in every video frame, so that videos look clearer, more detailed and more realistic,” Asus said in a press release.
The laptop, which weighs 1.3kg, claims to offer up to 12-hour battery life. As per Asus, ZenBook Flip has a unibody chassis crafted from a single block of solid aluminum, with the lid featuring the signature spun-metal ZenBook finish with its Zen-inspired pattern of concentric circles. This 13.9mm thin laptop is available in Icicle Gold and Mineral Gray colours.
Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA has 6th-generation Intel Core M (‘Skylake’) processor. Its fanless design promises totally silent operation. It has 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB solid-state disk (SSD). It also features two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a reversible next-generation USB 3.1 Type-C port.
ZenBook Flip UX360CA is also fitted with noise-reducing array microphone that, as per the company, “not only makes sound recordings clearer, but also allows accurate voice interaction with Windows Cortana, for which it is certified”. It has a touchpad, which supports Asus Smart Gesture multi-touch gestures. The touchpad also has palm-rejection technology that automatically recognizes and rejects accidental palm presses for easier, interference-free typing.
