Last month, a smartphone of Micromax’s Yu sub brand, called Yu6000, was spotted on Zauba. It was previously also cited on GFXbench and Geekbench. But now reports claim that the phone is already in the market and is currently available through offline channels for Rs 14,999.
A Twitter user – @AadeepSingh – has published images of the phone’s box that clearly shows its specifications. As per the spec list, the Yu Yureka Note Yu6000 has a 6 inch HD (1920×1080 pixels) display that has Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and a 64 bit octa core processor that runs at 1.5 GHz.
The Yu6000 is based on Android Lollipop operating system, as per the leaked image. Besides, it has a 13 megapixel rear camera that has Phase Detection Auto Focus feature and dual tone LED flash light support. The phone has an 8 megapixel front camera.
Besides, the Yureka Note YU6000 has dual SIM, WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth, micro USB port with OTG support, and GPS with AGPS and GLONASS. It has two microphones and two speakers. The phone has a 4000 mAh battery and offers 4G connectivity as well.
However, Yu has not officially reacted to the news.
