Yu Televentures, a sub-brand of Micromax, has reportedly postponed the launch of its flagship device Yu Yunicorn, which was scheduled for Thursday, May 19th. As per the report, Yu decided to postpone the event as on the same date (May 19) election results of five states will also be announced.
Further, another report claimed that the Yu Yunicorn would be launched in the last week of this month. However new date of launch event has not been announced by the company yet.
As of now, the company has not revealed the features of this smartphone. However being a flagship device, we expect the Yunicorn to have high-end specifications.
Last month, Yu Televentures launched the Yu Yureka Note in India at Rs 13,499. The Yureka Note has 6-inch Full HD Display, a Mediatek MT 6753T octa core processor, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner (at the back), 4000 mAh battery, 13 Megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, Dual Speakers with NXP smart PA, and Gorilla Glass 3 display Protection.
Running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1, the new smartphone gives users the access to a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc.
