Xolo has just announced that it will soon launch a nVidia Tegra 3 powered Quad Core Android phone. And while it has published the picture of the phone it has not revealed any specifications. The phone will be called Xolo Play T1000.
Xolo’s Facebook page only says “Shoot. Punch. Kick. Smash. Kill. Destroy. The world is a battleground on the new XOLO PLAY – the next big thing in gaming. Coming soon…”.
Phoneareana meanwhile has said that phone will get a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology and run on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). It will come with a 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED Flash, 1080p video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. It also will get Full HD video playback and support for Nvidia Tegra games through NVIDIA TegraZone.
The pricing has not been announced yet, but we expect (and are reasonably sure) the phone to be priced below Rs 16,000 and will be first serious gaming smartphone from an Indian player.
