Xolo, a sub-brand of Lava plans to launcharoundfive smartphones in India in 2019. The company had recently lauchelaunchedEra X5 and Xolo Era 4X after a long gap.
Sunil Raina, President and Business Head, Xolo, said to The Mobile Indian, ” We plan to launch around five smartphones in India inentry-level and mid-budget segments this year.” However, Raina didn’t reveal the timeline of the upcoming launches but added that the devices will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
He further said, ” By end of January we will be launchinga new smartphone.” Hedidn’tdivulge details of the mobile but it is expectedto feature a notch. On the operating system update, herevealed that the company will roll out the Android 9.0 Pie update by end of this quarter for Era 5X smartphone.
The company had recently launched Era 5X in India, without revealing its price and availability. One can expect it to bepriced under Rs 10,000.Xolo Era 5X features a 5.7 HD+ IPS inCell display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by Helio A22 2.0GHz quad core Processor which is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The Xolo Era 5X is equipped with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and a same 13-megapixel front camera. Both the cameras feature LED flash. The device also features a face unlock which the company claims to unlock the phone in 0.6 seconds and a fingerprint sensor as well which is claimed to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.
