A new Xolo handset, Xolo Q700i, is now available from online retail store Flipkart for Rs 11,999. As the name suggest, the handset is an upgraded version of the older Xolo Q700.
Like the older Q700, the new Xolo Q700i comes with a 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen but with high definition resolution, unlike qHD (540×960 pixels) Resolution of the older one. The touchscreen of Xolo Q700i also supports up to five finger touches. The display of the new handset also utilizes IPS technology and is based on One Glass Solution.
There is no change in the Processor department; the new Xolo Q700i too uses the quad core 1.2 GHz Mediatek chip with a dedicated PowerVR SGX544 graphic chip for performance as the older Q700. The Xolo Q700i has got 1 GB RAM along with 4 GB of onboard storage. To expand the storage further there is a memory card slot with support for up to a 32 GB micro SD card.
The second improvement in the Xolo Q700i comes in the form of a better camera that now is an 8 megapixel Autofocus camera with a Backlit sensor for better low light photography. The front camera has also been upgraded to 2 megapixels in place of a 0.3 megapixel camera on the predecessor.
Like the Q700, the Xolo Q700i uses a 2400 mAh battery that claims to offer 1-2 day’s worth of usage. But instead of the older Lithium-ion battery the Xolo Q700i utilises a lithium polymer battery which is lighter and offers more performance as well.
Note that the device has been listed on Flipkart but has not yet been made available, but we believe that the device will be making its way to customers in the coming week.
