Xolo has announced the launch of its first hexa core Processor based smartphone. The phone, named as Xolo Play 6X 1000, has been released for Rs 14,499. It is to be noted that many other Indian handset manufacturers have come out with their octa core smartphones and Karbonn recently also launched its hexa core phone. The new Xolo Play 6X 1000 also has the latest Android KitKat operating system.
The Xolo Play 6X 1000 measures 139.9 x 70.2 x 8.5mm and has a 5 inch display that comes with high definition resolution. It is powered by the 1.5 GHz hexa core MT6591 processor, Mali 450 GPU, and 2 GB RAM. The phone has 8 GB Internal Memory and 32 GB expandable storage slot. Thankfully, the device has the latest Android KitKat operating system.
The Xolo Play 6X has an 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI 2 sensor. This rear camera, as per the company, can capture full HD videos. In the front, it has a 2 megapixel camera. Besides, it has Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, and WiFi support.
In the Xolo Play 6X there is a 2100 mAh Li-Po battery that claims to offer standby of 581 hours and 532 hours on 2G and 3G network respectively; while expected talktime is 24.68 hours and 14.75 hours on 2G and 3G networks respectively.
