Xolo brings Q600s with Android KitKat for Rs 7,499, Q1200 for Rs 14,999

The Q600s is Xolo's first handset to come with Android 4.4 KitKat and though Q1200 is based on Android 4.2, it is upgradable to KitKat version.

Xolo is quietly updating its arsenal of smartphones and now two new devices have been spotted online. The Snapdeal retail website has listed two new Xolo models – Q600s for Rs 7,499 and Q1200 for Rs 14,999. The new Xolo Q600s is company’s first handset to run 4.4 KitKat update out of the box. The Q1200 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but is upgradable to the Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Xolo Q600s is the tweaked version of the Xolo Q600 which was announced last year. The Q600s features a 4.5-inch touchscreen display with FWVGA (960×540) pixel resolution. This smartphone is powered by an unspecified quad-core 1.2 GHz mobile and 1 RAM. It has 4 GB on-board storage and a memory card slot.

At the back, Q600s has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash for imaging while in its front lies a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. Other than that it has WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and standard audio port. This dual SIM handset supports one network enabled SIM card in one of the slots.
Xolo Q1200
Xolo Q1200 has a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. This display has been made using 3 technology. It is powered by an unspecified quad-core 1.3 GHz mobile processor, paired with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on-board storage. The memory card slot supports a micro-SD card. This sigle SIM smartphone supports 3G network enabled SIM card in one of the slots.

At the back, the Q1200 has 8 megapixel camera comprising of Sony Exmor R sensor with Dual LED flash. In the front lies a 2 megapixel camera for video calls. Besides, it has WiFi, 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and USB on-the-go support. Xolo has packed 2000 battery in this handset.
