Xolo has announced a new Dual-SIM smartphone – A700s – with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The new Xolo A700s dual SIM smartphone measures 8.9 mm thick and offers a 4.5-inch display. The Xolo A700s is powered by a dual-core MediaTek mobile chipset and is priced at Rs 7,299. At the same price point, the Xolo A700s is set to compete with Motorola Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4.
Xolo has introduced the successor of the existing A700 smartphone as the new A700s. This new smartphone offers 4.5-inch display with 960×540 pixel resolution. The A700s houses dual-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6572 mobile chipset which paired with Mali-400 GPU for graphics and 1 GB RAM. By default, this smartphone offers only 4 GB on-board storage and a memory slot.
At the rear is a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and Xolo has added face recognition, scene detection, tuning, HDR, Burst shot and Panorama. There is also a front facing 0.3 megapixel camera. Other features include 3G SIM support in one slot, WiFi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. Xolo has packed 1800 mAh battery and promises astoundingly high – 22.4 hours of talk time.
