Xolo has launched a feature rich smartphone in the budget segment. The handset, named as Xolo 8X 1000i, was found listed on the company’s website for Rs 6,999. The Xolo 8X 1000i is armed with the 1.4 GHz Mediatek MT6592M octa core Processor and huge 2 GB RAM.
This 3G smartphone is 7.9 mm thin (dimension – 140*70*7.9 mm) and offers two SIM card slots. It has a 5 inch display with high definition resolution (1280×720 pixels). The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and offers five finger touch support.
The Xolo 8X 1000i strangely comes with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system despite being a new phone. The smartphone has an 8 megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor. There is an LED flash light in the back panel as well. The auto focus rear camera has HDR, geotagging, panorama features and can record full HD videos too. For selfies, the handset offers a 2 megapixel front camera.
For connectivity, the Xolo 8X 1000i has Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 port, WiFi (b/g/n) and WiFi Direct. It has 16 GB of internal storage as well as a micro SD card slot of 32 GB capacity. The handset has a 1920 mAh Li-Ion battery that claims to offer 7.6 hours of 3G talktime.
At Rs 6,999, the Xolo 8X 1000i definitely looks lucrative and it will surely give the current leaders in this price segment like Redmi 2 Prime a tough contest.
