Xiaomi’s Mi Fan Festival kicks off on April 5 in India

Coupons will be available from Noon on April 4 offering discounts on Mi Mix 2S, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi TV, Mi Band and more.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is gearing up its annual Mi Fan Festival event in India on April 5 and 6 on its official website, during the course of which it will be offering several discounts, coupons and bundled offers on smartphones, accessories, and wearables. The company has already started off a social media campaign that goes on until noon on April 4. The scheme is to make discounts available on specific products when the item will reach a certain number of likes, as users invite their friends to do the same.

As part of the festival, Xiaomi is offering a complimentary pair of Mi Earphones on every purchase of the Redmi Note 5 Pro which is currently priced from Rs 13,999 onwards. The company has struck a deal with the popular audio musical.ly from March 31 to April 6 to offer users a chance to win their newly launched flagship Mi Mix 2S. Other smartphones like the Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, Redmi 4, Redmi 5A, Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite are also listed to discount of up to Rs 3,000.

Apart from the listed smartphones, the Mi fan Festival will also sell several accessories and wearables including the Mi 2 and Mi 20,000mAh power bank, the latter being priced at Rs 1,499. Xiaomi is selling its Mi Router 3C for a discounted price of Rs 999, instead of the regular Rs 1,199 price tag. There are also offers on select Mi Smart TVs three of which are now currently listed on the official website starting Rs 13,999. The bigger 43-inch Mi TV 4A is available for Rs 22,999 while the much expensive 55-inch Mi TV 4 could be bought for Rs 39,999.

Xiaomi will run a Crazy Combo scheme on both April 5 and 6 at 1 pm allowing users to sign in and order several items in the menu for a bundled price. Another promo titled ‘Color Our Planet’ gives users a chance to win a Redmi 5A device. Xiaomi has also partnered with travel booking site Goibibo offering up toRs 2,000 off on flights and a flat 20 percent discount on hotel bookings.
