Xiaomi today unveiled its first ever laptop in an event in China and has cleverly named it as Mi Notebook Air. But it not just a namesake of Apple’s famous MacBook Air, it also has one feature that would make MacBook Air users quite jealous. Actually, the Xiaomi laptop is even thinner than the Apple MacBook Air with just 14.4 mm thickness against 17 mm thickness of MacBook Air.
The Mi Notebook Air comes in two display sizes – one with 13.3 inch display and the other with 12.5 inch display which are priced at RMB 4999 (Rs 50,433 approximately) and RMB 3499 (Rs 35,300 approximately) respectively.
However, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air is not world’s thinnest laptop – the title now belongs to HP Specter. It measures 309.6 x210.9 x 14.8 mm dimension and weighs 1.28 kg.
Coming back to Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air, the laptop has 5.59 inch thin bezel. The laptop comes with full metal body while the display has full HD resolution and EDGE to edge glass protection.
