Xiaomi, which is known for its mobile phones, is also manufacturing and selling many other kinds of gadgets like TVs, fitness bands, and even smart light bulbs. Now, reportedly it is working on a VR headset.
Xiaomi’s General Manager, Tang Mu has reportedly told the Android Headlines about the company’s plans to work on a VR headset. “The company’s upcoming VR headset will be compatible with Google’s Daydream platform which was announced during the Google I/O last month,” said the report.
As per the report, Xiaomi decided to develop its own VR headset as existing devices are not compatible with its MIUI interface. It is expected to land in August.
