Xiaomi today confirmed to launch the Redmi Note 3 in India on March 3. It is organising an event in New Delhi on the said day to announce the launch.
The Redmi Note 3 was launched in China November last year and is priced at RMB 899 or Rs 9,339 approximately for 2 GB RAM version while its 3 GB RAM model has a price tag of RMB 1099 or approximately Rs 11,417.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a full metal body. In China, Redmi Note 3 comes with Helio X10 octa core processor but in India it will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset. The smartphone has a huge 4000 mAh battery and offers fingerprint sensor as well. The handset has a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It is available in silver, dark grey and gold colours. Despite having a huge battery, the phone is just 8.65 mm thick and weighs 164 grams.
The phone has a 5.5 inch full HD display, dual SIM with 4G connectivity, MIUI 7 and WiFi (ac). The 2 GB model has 16 GB of internal storage while the 3 GB model offers 32 GB of internal memory.
