As expected, Xiaomi today unveiled its latest Redmi series smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes in three variants – one with 3GB RAM with 32GB Internal Memory and Helio X20 chipset, another with 3GB RAM with 64GB internal memory and Helio X25 Chipset while another has 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory and Helio X25 chipset.
The 3GB (Helio X20) variant is priced at 1499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,110), the 3GB (Helio X25) variant will cost you 1699 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,130), while the 4GB variant is priced at 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,150). The device will be available for sale in China from 6th August.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 / Helio X25 processor. It has Mali – T880 GPU and 3GB/4GB RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 operating system and has a 4050 mAh battery with Fast charging technology. It has brushed metal body design and features a fingerprint sensor located on the home button.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes with a expandable memory via a micro SD card. The smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 5 megapixel secondary camera with Samsung sensor and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB type C.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro will come in three colors – Grey, Silver and Gold colors. No information about its release in India is available right now.
