Xiaomi Redmi Pro, which was unveiled yesterday only, is now available for pre-order from Oppomart.
Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the phone in three versions – a 3GB RAM model with Helio X20 at 1499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,110), another with 3GB RAM and Helio X25 CPU at 1699 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,130), and another with 4GB RAM at 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,150).
However, in Oppomart the Redmi Pro has higher price tag – the 3GB RAM with 32GB Internal Memory is available for $249 (approximately Rs 16,691), the 3GB RAM with 64GB internal memory variant is available for $299 (approximately Rs 20,049) while the 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory variant is listed at $349 (approximately Rs 23,398) for global market.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 / Helio X25 processor. It has Mali – T880 GPU and 3GB/4GB RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 operating system and has a 4050 mAh battery with Fast charging technology. It has brushed metal body design and features a fingerprint sensor located on the home button.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes with a expandable memory via a micro SD card. The smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 5 megapixel secondary camera with Samsung sensor and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB type C.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro will come in three colors – Grey, Silver and Gold colors.
