Xiaomi Redmi Pro models certified by TENAA just ahead of launch

There might be one Redmi Pro model with Helio X20 chipset and the two models with Helio X25 chipset.

Xiaomi is all set to announce the Redmi Pro along with a small device about which Xiaomi has not revealed anything yet. Along with that, the Chinese handset vendor will announce its first laptop – Mi Notebook. Now just hours before the launch today, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro has been spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA.

The TENAA listing shows that there might be one Redmi Pro model with Helio X20 and the two models with Helio X25 chipset. As per the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro will come in three variants – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The 3GB RAM with 32GB will be powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor. The high-end variants, 3GB RAM with 64GB internal memory and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory will be powered by a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor.

The other specifications as per the listing include a 5.5-inch full display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, a 13 megapixel dual rear cameras, a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a huge 4,000 battery. Other than this, the Redmi Pro is also said to be the first Xiaomi smartphone to be sporting an display.

The phone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 8 running on top. The phone is 151.5 mm tall, 76 mm wide and 8.15 mm thin and it weighs 177 grams, according to the TENAA listing.

As far as the Mi Notebook is concerned, it is rumoured to come in 12.5 inch, 13.3 inch and 15.6 inch screen variants. The smaller two variants are rumoured to be unveiled at today’s event but the 15.6 inch model is expected to be announced later. The purported Xiaomi notebook is expected to come with Intel Atom and aluminium body.
