Redmi Note 7 launched with 48MP Camera, Snapdragon 660, 4000mAh battery and more

The Redmi Note 7 is the first Note phone from Xiaomi to come with a waterdrop notch display.

Xiaomi has today launched Redmi Note 7 in China. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 comes in three variants – 3GB priced at 999 Yuan which is approx. Rs 10,380, 4GB RAM for 1199 Yuan which is approx. 12,459 and 6GB RAM is priced at 1399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,537.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 will go on sale from January 15, and will be made available in Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC colour gamut. It is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options and internal storage options as 32GB and 64GB options. The storage space can be expanded further up to 256GB via card.

For the camera department, the Redmi Note 7 is equipped with a dual camera setup with one 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with flash and f/1.8 and another 5-megapixel sensor for depth information. Up front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie sensor as well.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 10 based on Pie and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Connectivity options include VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
