Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro launched with 6.26-inch 19:9 display and quad cameras

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system out-of-the-box with MIUI 9 and has been backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

After various leaks and rumours, Xiaomi has finally launched Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced THB 6,990 which is approximately Rs 15,600. It comes in Black, Blue and Rose Gold colour variants. There is no info about its availability in India though at the moment.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full IPS display with a 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio 500 nits brightness, and 86 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 1.8GHz octa-core which is coupled with Adreno 509 GPU.

The smartphone has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It runs on 8.1 (Oreo) operating system out-of-the-box with MIUI 9 and has been backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with support.

Under the camera department, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with four cameras – two rear and two front. The dual rear comes with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with dual Pixel and f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. The AI-powered dual front cameras have a 20-megapixel primary sensor with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For security features, the phone has Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity features of Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro include Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), 5, GPS, A-GLONASS, micro-USB 2.0 port and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 157.9 x 76.38 x 8.2mm.
