Despite weekly flash sales, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has been a bestseller smartphone in India. The company earlier announced that it has sold over 5 million Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones since their launch.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB option, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 16,999. Both the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the smartphone are available for purchase through the open sale in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue colours. The Redmi Note 5 is already available on open sale on Flipkart and mi.com.

Recently, Asus also started the open sale system for its Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone. The Redmi Note 5 Pro competes with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB variant and Honor Play smartphones.

On the camera front, there are two cameras of 12MP and 5MP. The phone has a 20MP front camera.
