While announcing the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in India, Hugo Barra (Ex Global VP Xiaomi) also announced that the smartphone will also be available in Matte Black colour variant, but did not disclose when this colour variant will be made available for purchase. But now during Mi Home Pop Up event, which was held in Hyderabad recently, Xiaomi’s Lead Product Manager of Mi India, Jai Mani announced that the Matte Black variant of the Redmi Note 4 will be made available for purchase by end of this month. However, he did not give the exact date of availability.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone is all set for its fourth flash sale today at 12 Noon. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and mi.com. In today’s flash sale the three models of the Redmi Note 4 available for buyers today. The 32GB (2GB RAM) model is priced at Rs 9,999, the 32GB (3GB RAM) model is priced at Rs 10,999, whereas for 64GB (4GB RAM) model one has to pay Rs 12,999.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. In terms of design, the smartphone is near identical to the Redmi Note 3 with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Further, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
