Xiaomi has announced that it will launch its Redmi Note 12 series in India on January 5, 2023. The company will release three phones at the event: the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The smartphone has already been launched in China.
The company has not released any update on whether or not the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, the world’s first phone to support 210W of fast charging, will also be launched in India.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ Specs
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will include a 6.67-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an AMOLED display. In addition, it will have three cameras: a 200MP Wide-Angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is powered by a high-capacity 5,000mAh battery that supports fast chargers up to 120W. Users can expect to find Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin pre-installed when they receive the phone, which will be updated shortly thereafter to Android 13-based MIUI 14.
It is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 Processor and will have 12GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage. In addition, the device will have dual SIM card slots, 5G network, tri-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.2.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Specs
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is very similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ except that the latter has a 200MP camera, instead of 50MP. Both models have 16MP Sensors and support video recording up to 4K.

The Redmi Note 12 has a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ Resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and has 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage. It has a dual-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi 12 are likely to come with a price tag of around Rs 25,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 15000, respectively.
