Recently, a couple of real-life images of the alleged Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus surfaced online on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. Now, a new set of renders of the Redmi 5 Plus have again leaked online on the same Weibo website.
These renders are said to be of the Redmi 5 Plus as they are in-line with the previously leaked images of the smartphone, however their authenticity is not verified. The latest leaked renders show that the Redmi 5 Plus has an 18:9 display and it is expected to be a 5.5-inch full HD+ display. At the back of the device, we can also see a dual camera setup vertically aligned around the centre and a dual-LED flash as well. Below the dual camera module, there is a fingerprint scanner also at the back.
Xiaomi is rumoured to launch the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones in this week before November 11. Also, it is speculated to announce the Redmi Note 5 smartphone next month in December. Both the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 Plus are said to come with dual camera setup. The Redmi 5 is expected to arrive with a single camera.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus smartphone is said to feature a 5.9-inch full HD+ display with a possible 18:9 aspect ratio, and a Snapdragon 625 SoC or Snapdragon 630 SoC. It will possibly launch in two variants of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The smartphone is expected to sport a dual rear camera setup, which could be a combination of a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. The smartphone will run Android Nougat based MIUI 9 and it will be backed up by 4000 mAh battery. The basic version of the Redmi 5 Plus is expected to be priced at 799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 7,800.
