Xiaomi Redmi 3 variants with fingerprint sensor spotted at TENAA

The Redmi 3 variants have been certified by the Chinese certification agency, TENAA.

Xiaomi launched Redmi 3 smartphone in China last December for 699 Yuan (Rs 7,140 approximately). Now two new variants of Redmi 3, Xiaomi 2015817 and Xiaomi 2015810, have been spotted at the website of Chinese certification agency TENAA.

The new variants have almost the same specs as the original Redmi 3 along with additional fingerprint sensor.

As per the listing, both Xiaomi 2015817 and Xiaomi 2015810 feature a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. They are powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core processor which is coupled with 2GB RAM. They offer 16GB of internal storage, 32 expandable storage via micro SD card, 13 rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.

Xiaomi 2015817 has a 3000 battery while Xiaomi 2015810 has a 4000 mAh battery. The dual SIM phones runs on 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Connectivity options of the smartphones include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a port. The devices are listed in Gold, Silver and Grey color options.
