POCO, the sub-brand from Xiaomi, has announced a temporary price drop for its popular Poco F1 6GB+128GB variant. The smartphone will receive a price cut of Rs 2000, which will now retail for Rs 20,999 from 25th March to 28th March.
The discounted pricing will be available across Flipkart and Mi.com starting 25th March starting midnight till the 28th March. Customers can also buy Poco F1 6GB+64GB variant for Rs 19,999 and the 8GB+256GB variant for Rs 27,999 with an additional cashback of Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 respectively on Flipkart from 25th to 28th March.
Poco F1 recently received MIUI 10.2.30 update bringing some bug fixes, improvements and latest security patch. However, the new update for the device skips some crucial updates. The first one is the Widevine L1 certification and the second one is the support for 4K recording at 60 fps.
The smartphone is the cheapest flagship to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It comes loaded with a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is available in 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options.
On the camera front, it features a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX363 sensor with dual Pixel autofocus, with dual LED Flash, 1.4μm pixel size and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor. It has a 20-megapixel selfie camera along with support for IR face unlock feature. The device is backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
